Mission Mobile Medical Group Adds Second Campus After 900% Growth in Five Years

Mission Mobile Medical Group Adds Second Campus After 900% Growth in Five Years
4:08

The company marks its fifth-year anniversary with a major expansion, doubling its footprint to meet surging demand.

Greensboro, NC (March 18, 2025) — In five years, Mission Mobile Medical Group has transformed from a bold startup into the nation’s largest mobile healthcare company.

Founded in 2020 by Travis and Amanda LeFever, the company identified a critical gap in healthcare access—impacting more than 46 million Americans—and built a pioneering model to bridge it.

Today, Mission Mobile Medical marks its fifth anniversary with a major expansion, recently doubling its operational footprint and adding a second plant to support surging demand.

“The success our clients have had is a testament to the need for mobile health programs in America,” said Travis LeFever, CEO. “We started this company with a simple vision: to help health systems deliver healthcare to every corner of the country, and help people reach their full potential no matter where they choose to live and raise their kids. For five years we’ve kept our focus on people and purpose instead of overbuilt products and profit-seeking, and five years later, you can see we’ve built a model that works and scaled it nationally. And we are just getting started.”

Mission Mobile Medical is on an explosive growth trajectory. The company was recognized on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list and has expanded from five   employees to nearly 100 team members across the country, with sales leaping from $6 million to $55 million. The company has help health systems establish over 200 satellite mobile health programs across 42 states and Canada.

“Our growth is proof that purpose-driven businesses can also be profitable, scalable, and sustainable,” said Amanda LeFever, President. “Five years ago, our little team was sitting around my kitchen table with nothing but each other and a bold idea. We knew we were taking a risk - especially in an industry that is incredibly slow to change. But we believed in our mission and pushed forward. Early on, we realized that equipment was the easy part—the real challenge was helping healthcare leaders navigate the complexities of launching and optimizing mobile health programs for financial sustainability in their community. But we figured it out.”

The new facility in Kernersville, NC, will add 80,000 square feet of new office and manufacturing space designed to accelerate production, support an enhanced training center for healthcare providers and mobile operations specialists, and serve as a gathering place for industry professionals worldwide. The facility will also be home to two new non-profit initiatives launching in the coming weeks, furthering Mission Mobile Medical’s commitment to uniting those involved with increasing access to care and bending the healthcare cost-curve.

“Scaling a company this fast isn’t easy. But our leaders are growing so fast, professionally, and I’m so proud of this team. And when things get tough, we say just stay on your feet and keep moving, Don’t let anything or anybody stop you.” added Travis LeFever. “We are here to improve how medicine is delivered in this country—safely, efficiently, effectively, affordably, conveniently--and precisely where people need it most: close to home. And we’re going to do it. This is just another step on the journey.”
